EUFAB PREMIUM 2 towbar rack review
The best-selling towbar rack in this hub, fully preassembled, with a foot-pedal tilt mechanism and holders that take oversized and Y-shaped frames up to 6 cm (2.4 in).
Our conclusion The one most people buy, and for good reasons: preassembled, foot-pedal tilt, and it holds frame shapes that defeat cheaper racks.
The EUFAB PREMIUM 2 is the best-selling towbar rack in this hub by a wide margin, and the specification explains it.
What the manufacturer publishes
Transport of bikes on the towball. A quick-release fastening, lockable. A tilt mechanism operated by a foot pedal. Suitability for bikes with oversize and Y-frames up to 6 cm (2.4 in) diameter. E-bike suitable, fully preassembled, with anti-theft protection.
The foot pedal
A small thing that changes the experience. Tilting a loaded rack away from the car normally means finding a lever with both hands occupied by a boot lid or shopping. A foot pedal solves that, and it is the feature owners mention most.
Y-frames
Step-through frames and some full-suspension designs have no straight top tube for a rack arm to clamp. EUFAB stating explicit suitability for Y-frames is more useful than it sounds — the alternative is buying a frame adapter bar separately, which is a whole extra product.
What is not published
A payload figure. As with every rack here, the binding limit is your own towball’s nose weight minus the rack’s weight, and those are figures from your vehicle’s documents rather than from this page.

The questions riders ask
Does it take unusual frame shapes?
EUFAB states suitability for bikes with oversize and Y-shaped frames up to 6 cm (2.4 in) diameter. Y-frames — step-through and some full-suspension shapes — are the ones that most often defeat a standard rack arm.
How does the boot open?
A tilt mechanism operated by a foot pedal, which is what lets you tilt the loaded rack away from the car without putting anything down.
Our score
