Gindoly’s grips are the ergonomic wing shape, aimed squarely at hand discomfort.

What the manufacturer publishes

High quality, made from durable rubber with an aluminum alloy clamp bolt described as giving excellent security. A locking ring positioned on the top for effectiveness. An ergonomic design giving 100% contact with the palm to reduce pressure on the hand. A triple density design with a non-slip diamond surface.

The wing shape, and what it does

A plain cylindrical grip supports the fingers and leaves the heel of the hand unsupported. Over an hour, that concentrates pressure on a small area and on the nerve that runs through it — which is the numbness riders describe.

A wing spreads the load across the whole palm and changes the wrist angle. It is one of the more effective cheap changes for hand comfort on a flat-bar bike.

Triple density

Three compounds in one grip. Softer where you need cushioning, firmer where you need control. It is a real construction difference rather than a marketing phrase, and it is why a good grip costs more than a cheap one.

The questions riders ask

What is triple density?

Three rubber compounds of different firmness in one grip — typically softer where the palm rests and firmer where the fingers wrap, so the grip cushions without feeling vague.

What does full palm contact mean?

A wing or flare that supports the heel of the hand rather than leaving it hanging off the edge of a cylindrical grip. It spreads pressure and changes wrist angle, which is what relieves numbness on longer rides.
