Our conclusion The simplest one to get going with. Check your rear axle type first — the manufacturer flags that requirement for good reason.
Relaxdays’ trainer is the one that arrives ready to use, which is worth more than it sounds on a product people buy in November.
What the manufacturer publishes
Indoor riding in poor weather or winter. Delivered fully assembled, with quick mounting via the supplied quick-release skewer — and an explicit warning that a hollow axle is required for it. Suitable for common bikes with 650–720 mm (25.6 to 28.3 in) or 26–28 inch tires. Solid steel construction for stability and stability under load. Six gears of resistance.
The axle warning
Worth taking seriously and unusually well flagged by the manufacturer. A quick-release skewer passes through a hollow axle. A bike with a solid bolted axle, or a modern one with a thru-axle, will not take the supplied skewer, and the trainer cannot clamp the wheel without it. Check the rear wheel before ordering.
The narrower wheel range
Twenty-six to twenty-eight inches covers road and city bikes and most older mountain bikes. It stops short of 29 inch, which the Red Loon in this hub covers. If you ride a modern mountain bike, that is the difference between the two.
What it is not
Not smart, so no app connection and no automatic resistance. Six manual levels set by hand.

The questions riders ask
Will my bike fit?
Relaxdays states 650–720 mm (25.6 to 28.3 in) / 26–28 inch wheels, and warns that a hollow axle is required for the supplied quick-release skewer. A bike with a bolted or thru-axle rear wheel needs a different arrangement.
Does it need assembly?
No. The manufacturer states it is delivered fully assembled, with mounting handled by the quick release.
