A 16 g (0.6 oz) cartridge is one inflation, and threaded and bare types differ · review
Kadacha CO2 inflator kit with 5 × 16 g (0.6 oz) cartridges review
A CO2 inflator supplied with five 16 g (0.6 oz) threaded cartridges, fitting Presta and Schrader, stated to inflate a road tire to about 100 psi per cartridge.
Our conclusion Fast, and finite. Carry it alongside a mini pump rather than instead of one.
Kadacha’s kit is the complete CO2 answer: head, cartridges and instructions in one purchase.
What the manufacturer publishes
Everything needed for a flat in one kit. A compact, light head fitting Presta and Schrader valves. Five 16 g (0.6 oz) threaded cartridges. Stated output of about 100 psi in a road tire or about 4 bar in a mountain bike tire per cartridge.
The threaded detail
Cartridges come threaded or bare, and the two are not interchangeable between inflator heads. These are threaded, which is the more common arrangement and the more forgiving — a threaded cartridge screws in and stays put rather than needing to be held.
What CO2 does and does not do
It fills a tire in seconds, which at the roadside in cold rain is worth a great deal. Then it is gone. Each cartridge is one inflation, and CO2 molecules pass through a tube wall faster than air does — so a tire filled with CO2 will be noticeably soft the next day and needs topping up at home with a normal pump.
The frostbite warning worth repeating
An expanding cartridge gets extremely cold, quickly. Handle it through a glove or the supplied sleeve; the manufacturers all say so and it is easy to forget in a hurry.

What we rate and what we flag
Strengths
Five cartridges included, so it works out of the box rather than needing a second order
The manufacturer publishes what one cartridge actually achieves, road and MTB
Far smaller and lighter than any hand pump here
Compromises
Not listed on the British market
One cartridge is one inflation — this is a consumable, not a tool
CO2 leaks through tube walls faster than air, so the tire needs re-inflating at home

The questions riders ask
How many tires does one cartridge fill?
One. Kadacha states a 16 g (0.6 oz) cartridge inflates a road tire to about 100 psi or a mountain bike tire to about 4 bar. A second puncture on the same ride needs a second cartridge.
Do I still need a pump?
Most riders carry both. CO2 is fast and finite; a pump is slow and unlimited. Carrying only cartridges means a second puncture ends the ride.
Our score
7.8/ 10

What buyers actually choose
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 50.

5 × 16 g (0.6 oz) threaded · aluminum alloy CNC head · adjustable control valve
A CO2 kit whose head has a control valve for metering the gas rather than releasing it all at once, in CNC-machined aluminum alloy and heat-treated steel.
Best for: Riders who want to part-inflate, check the tire is seated, and then finish — rather than committing the whole cartridge blind.
