What you are getting

Two silicone strap mounts, 360° rotation, tool-free, for phones with screens of 4.0 to 6.5 inches. $8.86 the pair — $4.43 each, the cheapest mount on this page by unit.

Two in the box, which is the whole argument

Every other mount in this survey is sold singly. This is a pair, at less than the price of one of anything else here except the Kinizuxi.

What a second mount is for: a second bike. A silicone strap mount takes a minute to fit and costs nothing to leave in place, so the sensible use of a pair is one on the road bike and one on the town bike rather than moving a single mount between them.

6.5 inches, which is the tightest phone limit on this page

VOVIGGOL 6.5”, Lamicall 6.8”, JOYROOM and Kinizuxi 7”, Bone 7.2”.

A 6.5-inch screen is roughly an iPhone 15 Plus. A 6.7 or 6.9-inch phone — which is most current large models — is outside the stated range, and the compatibility list bears that out: it names iPhone 16 and 15 Pro Max among others, where the screen sizes do reach 6.7”.

So the figure and the list disagree at the top end, and the figure is the safer guide. If the phone is a current large one, the Bone at 7.2” or the Kinizuxi at 7” are the mounts to look at.

Silicone rather than plastic, stated as the choice

“Made of high-quality silicone instead of plastic bike phone holder, this flexible bicycle phone mount absorbs all shocks as well as avoids phone surface scratches.”

“Absorbs all shocks” is an absolute no 40-gram strap can keep — the JOYROOM mount on this page claims 95% with a pneumatic damper and 399 g (14.1 oz) of hardware to do it.

What silicone genuinely does is take the edge off vibration and not scratch the phone, which the two clamp mounts here achieve with separate silicone pads.

“Mount it just like putting on a wristwatch”

The fitting method, and it is the accurate description: an elastic band round the bar with a hole-and-stud closure. No tool, no bolt, no diameter to check — “easy to attach or remove from any size of handlebars”.

That is the real advantage of a strap mount over a clamp, and the reason this listing publishes no handlebar range while the Lamicall publishes 15–40 mm (0.59 to 1.57 in) and the JOYROOM 18–34 mm (0.71 to 1.34 in).

What it does not publish, including its own weight

No weight. The Kinizuxi strap mount on this page is 40 g and the Bone 65 g, so a plain silicone strap is somewhere in that region — but this is the only mount in the survey with no figure at all.

No safety latch, like every silicone mount here. No detachable cradle, which the Kinizuxi has and which is what spares the bands.

No sensor statement — the Kinizuxi names four sensors its bands keep clear and the Bone names two; this says nothing about where the bands fall across the phone face.

What is not published

No weight, no handlebar range, no band count, no replacement bands, no UV life, no warranty. Five bullets, three of which describe shock absorption in slightly different words.

At $4.43 a mount, that is what is bought: a pair of elastic cradles that fit anything and promise nothing measurable.

The questions riders ask

Will a big phone fit?

The stated limit is 6.5 inches, which is the tightest on this page — and the listing’s own compatibility list names phones whose screens reach 6.7". Where a figure and a list disagree, trust the figure. For a current large phone, the Bone mount here takes 7.2" and names the hard cases it fits; the Kinizuxi takes 7".

Does it really absorb all shocks?

No — that is an absolute no 40-gram elastic strap can keep. What silicone does is take the edge off vibration and avoid scratching the phone. For actual damping, the JOYROOM mount on this page uses a pneumatic dual damper and claims 95%, with 399 g (14.1 oz) of hardware to achieve it. The difference matters mainly to a phone camera’s image stabilization on rough roads.

Why buy two?

Because a strap mount is cheap enough to leave on a bike permanently. At $4.43 each the sensible use of the pair is one on each of two bikes rather than unthreading a single mount every time — which also avoids stretching the bands, the part that eventually fails. The Kinizuxi mount on this page solves the same problem differently, with a cradle that unclips from a base that stays put.
