No screws, no metal, and the biggest phone on the page
Bone Bike Tie Pro 4, stem mount, silicone, 65 g (2.3 oz)
An all-silicone stem-mounted phone holder with no screws or metal parts, taking phones from 4.7 to 7.2 inches.
What you are getting
The Bone Bike Tie Pro 4: a stem-mounted holder made entirely of soft silicone — “without any plastic or metal screws” — with flexible bands for phones of 4.7 to 7.2 inches, an enlarged non-slip base, and unobstructed front camera and home button. 65 g (2.3 oz). $24.99.
7.2 inches, the largest phone on this page
Bone 7.2”, JOYROOM and the published LeMego 7”, Kinizuxi 7”, Lamicall 6.8”, VOVIGGOL 6.5”.
And it names the phones at the edge: “Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 10+ or iPhone 11 Pro Max all fit”. Naming the largest cases that fit is more useful than listing the small ones that obviously do.
No screws anywhere, which is the design
“Soft-touch silicone material (without any plastic or metal screws) absorbs bumps and protects your devices.”
Everything on this page except the two silicone strap mounts has a screw or a clamp bolt. This has neither: the bands do the holding and the base does the gripping.
Two consequences. There is nothing to seize, strip or rattle loose — and there is no mechanical latch either, so retention is entirely a function of how far the bands stretch. The Lamicall and JOYROOM mounts on this page both carry a separate safety catch for exactly that reason.
And it mounts on the stem rather than the bar
“Bike stem mount”, with “an enlarged and non-slip base”.
The stem is flatter, shorter and stiffer than a handlebar, and a phone there sits lower and more centrally — out of the way of hands on the tops, and less exposed in a fall than an out-front mount like the Quad Lock.
It is also a shorter, fatter surface than a bar, which is why the base is enlarged and why this mount does not publish a bar diameter range at all. It does not need one.
Face ID and Touch ID left clear, named
“Unobstructed front camera allows face to unlock. The iPhone Touch ID and android phone home buttons are also unobstructed.”
A silicone band across the bottom of a phone covers the home button; a band across the top covers the front camera. Routing them clear of both is a design decision and the Kinizuxi mount on this page makes the same claim — “never blocks the face ID, light sensor, home button and finger sensor”.
The clamp mounts on this page grip at the corners and leave the whole face clear by construction.
65 g (2.3 oz), and the weight question answered honestly
Kinizuxi 40 g (1.4 oz), Bone 65 g (2.3 oz), Quad Lock 87 g (3.1 oz), Lamicall 198 g (7 oz), JOYROOM 399 g (14.1 oz).
Sixty-five grams of silicone for $24.99 is dear against the $7.99 Kinizuxi at 40 g (1.4 oz), and the difference the listing claims is design rather than material: “the most stable bike phone mount we have ever designed”, with an enlarged base and an “innovative strap design”.
That is a claim against its own predecessors, not against the Kinizuxi.
A year of warranty, stated
“1-year warranty and life-time service support.” The only warranty figure on this page. On a silicone part that perishes in UV, a year is a modest and relevant promise.
What is not published
No handlebar or stem diameter range, which is the one fitment figure a stem mount still needs — stems vary in width and taper; no retention force; no safety latch; no waterproofing; no band replacement availability, which on a silicone-only mount is what decides its life.
