A chain scrubber does in two minutes what a brush does in fifteen · review
Muc-Off 8-in-1 cleaning kit with bucket review
A complete kit with a liter of Nano-Tech bike cleaner, a set of brushes, a protective Bike Spray and a sealable bucket that doubles as the wash bucket.
Our conclusion The one to buy if you own nothing. Fluid, brushes and a bucket in one go — and keep all of it away from the rotors.
Muc-Off’s kit is the complete-from-zero option, and the bucket is the detail people remember.
What the manufacturer publishes
One liter of Nano-Tech bike cleaner for quick and easy cleaning. Various brushes for thorough cleaning. Bike Spray for post-wash treatment to prevent corrosion and rust and keep parts moving. A sealable bucket usable as the cleaning bucket.
The bucket
It ships as the packaging and becomes the wash bucket, then stores everything between washes. It sounds like a gimmick and it is the reason the kit stays together rather than being scattered across a shed.
The three-product logic
Cleaner for the frame and general dirt. Brushes for the shapes. A protectant afterwards, because a freshly washed bike is a stripped bike — the water has displaced everything protective.
What to add
A drivetrain-specific degreaser, if the contents do not include one. A frame cleaner and a chain degreaser are formulated differently: the degreaser is aggressive enough to dissolve old lubricant and is not meant for paint or, critically, anywhere near a disc rotor.
The rotor rule, one more time
Contaminated pads are replaced rather than cleaned, according to most brake manufacturers. Turn the drivetrain away from the discs, or take the wheels out.
What we rate and what we flag
Strengths
Fluid included — a liter of cleaner and a protective spray, not just brushes
The bucket is the packaging and the wash bucket, which is a neat piece of design
From a specialist bike care brand, listed on all six markets
Compromises
The manufacturer does not name a drivetrain-specific degreaser in the contents
More expensive than the brush-only sets by a factor of three
A liter of cleaner is heavy to store and a while to use up
Where this model is listed
A listing is not an offer: the reference exists on these stores, availability changes daily.

The questions riders ask
Is a degreaser included?
Muc-Off lists a Nano-Tech bike cleaner and a Bike Spray for post-wash protection. A drivetrain degreaser is a different, more aggressive product; check the contents list against what you need for the chain.
What is the Bike Spray for?
Applied after washing, to help prevent corrosion and rust and keep moving parts free. It is a protectant, not a lubricant for the chain.

Who buys this one, among bike gear
Starting from nothing: one purchase and the bike gets properly cleaned that afternoon.
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 50.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.
