A dual head fits Presta and Schrader without an adapter to lose · review
GIYO GF27DH track pump with precision gauge review
A track pump with a large gauge specified for both low and high pressures and a one-hand locking head, rated by its manufacturer to 11 bar and supplied with adapters.
Our conclusion The pump for wide tires. Everything else here reads 11 bar well and 1.5 bar vaguely; this one is specified to do both.
GIYO’s GF27DH answers a real complaint about track pumps, which makes it worth a look despite being the least-sold pump here.
What the manufacturer publishes
A large precision gauge showing psi and bar, with a magnified low-pressure range. A valve head fitting Presta/Sclaverand, Schrader and Dunlop, with one-hand locking and a seal GIYO describes as reliable. A maximum of 160 psi / 11 bar, stated as suiting road, city, gravel, mountain bike and fat bike tires. A needle valve and inflation adapters supplied.
The low-range gauge
This is the specification that matters, and almost nobody publishes it. A standard 11 bar gauge spends most of its dial on pressures no bicycle uses, leaving the 1 to 3 bar band that gravel and mountain bike riders live in compressed into a few degrees of needle movement. A magnified low range fixes exactly that.
If you run 25 mm (0.98 in) road tires, this does nothing for you. If you run 2.4 inch tires and care about the difference between 1.6 and 1.9 bar, it is the reason to buy this pump.
The one-hand head
Press on, it seals; pull off, it releases. No lever to flick, which is one fewer thing to get wrong on a Presta valve stem.

The questions riders ask
Can it read low pressures accurately?
GIYO specifies the gauge for low and high tire pressure with an enlarged low range, which is unusual on a pump rated to 11 bar and is the reason to pick it for wide tires.
How does the head attach?
A one-hand lock: press it onto the valve and it seals, with the same head covering Presta, Schrader and Dunlop.
